[17:39]<+camerongray> DaveLembke better be "modding" a broken 5150
[17:39]<+camerongray> Else I will completely rage at him
[17:39]<@BC_Programming> he's not, he mentioned that in the first thread
[17:40]<@BC_Programming> somebody is giving him the 5150 under the condition that he ruin it basically
[17:41]<+camerongray> *facepalm*
[17:41]<+camerongray> Completely stupid
[17:41]<+camerongray> I'm just slowly going to drop in how much I'd have paid him for the components he's runing
[17:42]<+camerongray> Total that I can think so far is well over £150
[17:42]<@BC_Programming> eg http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/300843505247?lpid=82&item=300843505247&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
[17:42]<+camerongray> Yep!
[17:42]<+camerongray> I'd love one of them for mine
[17:42]<+camerongray> I only have a half height one
[17:43]<+camerongray> Oh yeah, forgot to say, found an original 5151 monitor for it
[17:43]<+camerongray> Look at the photo I posted in his thread
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> cool
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> MDA or CGA? I Think it could do both
[17:43]<+camerongray> MDA but think it can do CGA yeah
[17:43]<+camerongray> All for £10 :D
[17:43]<@BC_Programming> from somebody like Dave? "It's all junk"
[17:44]<+camerongray> haha
[17:44]<+camerongray> It was untested so noone else bid
[17:44]<+camerongray> Thing is, Going by his original thread, I'd say the parts he's putting in are closer to "junk" than the machine!
[17:45]<+camerongray> I mean, sure my XT is useless, but boy is it fun to play with!
[17:45]<@BC_Programming> Seems pretty pointless IMO, ALl he's doing it throwing some new junk into a very old case
[17:45]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:45]<+camerongray> With of course very poor cooling and almost no way to upgrade it
[17:46]<@BC_Programming> And he can't seem to decide if it's a 5150 or an XT
[17:46]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:46]<+camerongray> It's a 5150 as he mentioned a casette port
[17:46]<@BC_Programming> 8088XT wut
[17:46]<+camerongray> So yeah, potentially even more valuable than my XT!
[17:47]<+camerongray> And I bet he'll finish it, go "Oh, that's cool" then dump it in the corner
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> haha
[17:47]<+camerongray> Also, have you seen the state of his PC?
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> Then later somebody will be like "OMG is that a 5150, I'll give you a bajillion dollars"
[17:47]<+camerongray> If he can't get a proper PC to look good, how can he expect to do some flawless mod to an XT
[17:47]<@BC_Programming> oh what are you referring to there
[17:48]<+camerongray> http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,136457.0.html
[17:48]<+camerongray> The guy who built that is now trying to do the XT mod
[17:48]<@BC_Programming> hahaha
[17:48]<@BC_Programming> that's hilarious
[17:48]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:49]<+camerongray> So I presume his 5150 mod will be a similar mess
[17:49]<jamer> that .... just is ... uhg
[17:49]<@BC_Programming> and I thought I was bad for sticking my SSD underneath my drive cage
[17:50]<+camerongray> Compare it to the build I did today!
[17:50]<+camerongray> Will get a photo
[17:50]<+camerongray> http://postimg.org/image/4gqy6xklv - Little bit neater than Dave's :P
[17:50]<jamer> i can do better blindfolded than what dave can
[17:50]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:51]<jamer> titan black or reg titan?
[17:51]<+camerongray> 780ti
[17:51]<+camerongray> He's literally taken the cables and connected them where they are to go without giving a second thought to keeping them neat
[17:51]<jamer> even better
[17:51]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:51]<@BC_Programming> I'd like to get rid of my ATA cable come to think of it... but I'll have to replace my DVD drive and buying a new SATA DL/Lightscribe just for a different interface seems a bit wasteful
[17:51]<+camerongray> That was an extremely hard build - That's an H100i facing the camera
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> I shall soon make a glorious build
[17:52]<+camerongray> The Blu Ray drive was a tiny bit too long so blocked the h100i so I had to remove the plastic bezel from it and file down the case's flip down bezel thing so it all fits properly
[17:52]<@BC_Programming> I won't even take the SSD/HD out of this one, completely fresh
[17:53]<+camerongray> This one has a 780ti, 4770k, 32gb RAM, 2x4tb HDD (RAID 1), 480gb SSD (Crucial M500), Lian Li PC-10NA case, 650w SuperFlower Leadx PSU
[17:53]<@BC_Programming> Blu Ray, hmm that seems like something I should get
[17:53]<@BC_Programming> all the new stuff
[17:53]<@BC_Programming> because I can mwa haha
[17:53]<+camerongray> Nah, I'd honestly not bother with optical nowadays :P
[17:54]<+camerongray> Oh, and this build is running a 1440p ASUS monitor :P
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> I'm not building a machine without a DVD/CD drive
[17:54]<+camerongray> lol
[17:54]<+camerongray> Put it this way - It gets at least 35fps in the Unigine Valley benchmark at 1440p, ultra detail and 8x Anti Aliasing
[17:54]<@BC_Programming> I have stacks of stuff on DVD and whatnot
[17:55]<+camerongray> Ahh
[17:55]<@BC_Programming> MSDN stuff I burned :P
[17:55]<+camerongray> lol
[17:55]<@BC_Programming> did I mention that I looked it up and the subscription I have is like $11,000
[17:56]<@BC_Programming> I guess IDE is completely out these days, probably only on my current board for compat
[17:56]<+camerongray> Yeah
[17:56]<@BC_Programming> that's fine, the cables are annoying to deal with
[17:56]<+camerongray> I still love how bad his build is
[17:56]<+camerongray> Oh, have you seen baconbuttie's?
[17:57]<@BC_Programming> nope
[17:57]<+camerongray> Oh wow
[17:57]<+camerongray> It's like Dave's but with expensive parts
[17:57]<@BC_Programming> oh dear
[17:57]<+camerongray> Absolutely no thought into any of it
[17:59]<+camerongray> http://s30.postimg.org/jshbqq2ht/IMG_3331_zpse618e687.jpg
[17:59]<+camerongray> "Dual PSU"
[17:59]<+camerongray> It only needs 650w
[17:59]<+camerongray> The Coolermaster he has is junk
[18:00]<+camerongray> And the top unit is "CiT" - As in the lowest end, most dangerous PSU on the market
[18:00]<+camerongray> A mix of crap video cards
[18:00]<+camerongray> But an i7 extreme edition CPU (LGA 2011)
[18:00]<+camerongray> MSI motherboard
[18:01]<@BC_Programming> why... why are there two power supplies
[18:01]<+camerongray> Because reasons
[18:01]<@BC_Programming> seems fair
[18:01]<+camerongray> I love how he tries to make out he has more experience than me - Compare those two builds :P
[18:01]<@BC_Programming> heh "military class" on the blue thing above the cpu cooler
[18:02]<+camerongray> Yeah :P
[18:02]<@BC_Programming> I like how the cables are tangled by default, that's a nice touch
[18:02]<@BC_Programming> and how it has an add-on SATA board
[18:03]<+camerongray> Yeah
[18:03]<+camerongray> Bet he calls it a "RAID Card"
[18:09]<+camerongray> Oh, and I bet baconbuttie didn't have a parrot on his shoulder during the entire build who sat singing his heart out
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> speaking of parrots
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> http://www.bc-programming.com/images/richardsstruggle.png
[18:09]<+camerongray> haha!
[18:09]<@BC_Programming> actually I'm just bored and looking through all the images I put on my webhost
[18:09]<+camerongray> lol
[18:11]<@BC_Programming> http://www.bc-programming.com/images/slime.png That must be fairly old
[18:11]<@BC_Programming> so excited for the "new" slimes, or the slimes being re-enabled anyway
